Sue Karr found a passion for the Fine Jewelry Industry and has been fortunate to be in the business for over 30 years. As a member of the Woman’s Jewelry Association, Gemological Institute of America, and Midwest Jewelry Association Minnesota / Wisconsin Jewelry Association, Sue has kept up with new styles and exciting trends in the industry. After finishing her Business Degree at U of M, Sue took a position with a large family jewelry business in downtown Minneapolis.

Learning the jewelry business from a family of dedicated jewelers, and developing the needed skills to be successful, Sue moved on to build her own business. Soon after she and a partner started K & L Jewelers, a private client business. She worked as a private client jeweler for 15 years. As her partner moved on, Sue went back into retail fine jewelry as a manager and buyer. After a few years, the desire to be on her own came back so Sue went back into the Personal Jewelry business!

Working closely with clients, she helps new couples with first time purchases, offering a stress-free, secure environment to assist with engagement and wedding rings, providing an education of diamonds and finding the perfect rings for them for an exceptional value. Sue is a full-service jeweler and will customize, remake unwanted jewelry into new treasures, provide appraisals, jewelry repair, and watch sales and service.
